Belated Thanksgiving Day - part 3

After the mandatory naptime - we decided to go out and shoot Jason's guns. I think he has 3. I am not a fan of guns and found out he broke the rule of having a gun in my home before he had moved out. He's on the Naughty List for sure. First off, the pistol. Good form. See the bullet? Go away Jason.

I don't want to listen to a NL Boy. (naughty list). I'm so mean.
Next, he pulled out his shotgun and we tried to shot clay pigeons. Doug got a whopping 5 out of 5. Stud. Katie: 3 out of 5. Allan: 2 out of 5. He's a lefty.

Shannon: 0 out of 5. Me, 0 out of 1. I didn't enjoy shooting it at all. Now for Jason. I don't recall how many he got. Not many. And not because of his shooting skills. It was mostly a 'pigeon thrower' problem. Katie trying, Allan trying, Shannon tried to throw a couple but I didn't take a picture of her. I didn't even try. After watching the 3 before me and my tummy hurting so much from laughing at them, I didn't want to put my self out there for humiliation as well. Jason losing hope, asked Dad to help out, who did alright after a few dud throws. . As you can see from our attire - IT WAS COLD!

The girls stayed in the back of the 'burb' for the most part - only coming out for their 'turn' at something.
The men folk just toughed out the cold weather.
Pretty sunset in November.
Okay, lastly, he pulled out his newest gun - a 33 aught. Now, I don't know how to spell it and I looked up 33 aught, ought and ott -nothing came up for a gun - so there you have my spelling choice. Aught. (almost goes with the story of the NL Boy). (aught - naught'y').
Jason and Allan went way up the side of this hill we were at and set up water filled paint cans - old juice containers with water, etc. This way when they get hit with the bullet they kind of explode and we can see it from very far away. Racing Allan back down the hill.
The naughty boy did his sharp shooting and we were done. Drove home. The last thing we did was watch a scary movie I had remembered seeing many, many years ago.
Dark Night of the Scarecrow with Charles Durning. Ooh. Nice way to end the evening.
Post - Jason just told me that it is not 33, but a 30-06. That is why I couldn't find anything relating to a gun named 33.

Just guessing here, but I THINK it would be spelled "aut." for 'automatic'. Not sure though.
